Penimbungan Waterfall is located in Sajang Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Penimbungan Waterfall is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Lombok. Penimbungan Waterfall can be found if we climb Mount Rinjani via the Torean route. That's why many climbers often mention Torean Waterfall because it is on the Torean Route. Penimbungan Waterfall is about 100 meters high. With its height, Penimbungan Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Lombok. The discharge of Penimungan Waterfall is also large enough so that we can see it from a distance. Steep cliffs cover almost the entire area around the waterfall area, creating a unique and beautiful view. The flow of Penimungan Waterfall itself originates from Lake Segara Anak, which is a lake that is right in the middle of the former eruption of Mount Rinjani. Apart from the clear water, the cold weather around the mountain makes the waterfall flow look like smoke. In fact, you can often only see white mist filling almost the entire waterfall area. To see Penimbungan Waterfall directly, we are not allowed to go down because the path is very steep and slippery and we don't need to go down. We can enjoy it from the direction of the accommodation, namely from above the White River Valley. For climbers who pass this route, Penimbungan Waterfall is usually a bonus in itself to relieve fatigue during the climb. To get to Penimungan Waterfall, you can reach it from Mataram City. By using an L-300 vehicle to Pasar Anyar in Bilok Petung Village, Sembalun District, we will travel for around 3-4 hours. Next, from Pasar Anyar, the journey continues by taking a motorbike taxi to Torean Hamlet, Sembalun Lawang Village, Sembalun District, approximately one hour's drive.
